I go over what's currently known about the 720, including the new GPU details, rumors of bluray and that it won't allow you to play used games!

  • 4850 radeon HD beats any 8800 GTX or SLI. 6670 is base model. BASED ON. like in the xbox 360 they used multipule cores and dies to release stress off the GPU so the new xbox can run DX11 30fps easy. maxed out the bandwidth and yeah... u try running BF3 on a 1900XT card see what results you get. pc gamers can get 6GB cards all you want what with ur overclocked spec we just know in another year or two youll spend more money while will just be chillen with the lastest and greatest baby.

  • @TheAllyal For how long though? As consoles age, devs need to do things such as lower resolution and reduce other effects (such as AA or AF) to reduce stress on the card. There's a reason COD games are running at 600P (so in other words, not even true HD) it's because the consoles GPU isn't capable of rendering it. As is the case with the bad FOV.

BF3 and other games will look better on PC due to the higher specs... PC gamers just have to pay more for this, but there's no denying it.

  • Won't be buying this a 6670 is hardly a credible upgrade its barely stronger then GT8800 andthat card is over 5 years old!!!!!

  • @0ldSkoolzGamer I agree the choice of card is disappointing in pure performance - but it does make sense for MS. There's a few reasons for this - power, heat and cost are all going to be low and also remember a closed system which will allow the devs to push it far more than a PC due to being far more efficient with only a single design.

Having said that, likely PC's by the time of its release will still look better graphically thanks to more Anti-Aliasing and better textures due to more RAM.

  • @TheAllyal the 4570 is a terrible card, obviously it wont be able to max it

  • @cerealthree can cant run cod2 on max settings. from ati9200 to radeon HD 4570 its only a 20fps frame rate increase.

  • @TheAllyal You have a 4570 and wonder why it sucks...lol

  • @RedGamingTech your right. but of all my pc gaming over the years I can never get a game to run as smoothly and as great graphics like on the xbox 360 version fo the game. xbox 360 games are tuned to the xbox 360 hardware. just look on crysis on the xbox 360. I had to drop my shadow and model to nothing to get the same with my dual and 4570 card. now run cod 2 on max and I still get performance drop. not on 360. even if u have the best core and card u sacrifce looks for perfomance

  • @RedGamingTech I agree however the problem is the 6670 is only slightly over twice as fast as current systems 1080p and DX11 alone will be extremely taxing for an entry level card such as the 6670. Both the 360 and PS3 GPU'S were siginifically more advanced then their predecessors (both Cards were hardly entry level cards at the time) Choosing entry level card for a gaming system though cost effective hosts a whole load of issues in the future 4 years down the line for example.
