@forumboarder167: ACLS goes with dopamine 2-20mcg/kg/min not lido. also no more atreopine for asystole/PEA. just EPI EPI EPI. great job tho jason i learned alot from watching this when i first started medic school. hitting my internship in 3 days

i had my megacode in illinois today and although this video is alittle different in drugs and monitor and everything now i just wanted to say thank you for posting this video it really helped me out with my megacode today. passed with flying colors all because u showed me what the baseline expectations were! great job and thanks again!

Just curious, is your protocal still to extubate the patient post code, or now do you guys sedate with Midaz/Fent

@jalen77232 This is a standard Megacode, things have changed a little bit since this video but those changes are easy to make. Learning how to run the code is the main skill
why is it that the scenarios are talked through more so then actual skills being applied. i.e. actually do compressions, not put a piece of plastic on the chest, and actually start the iv's vs saying that their established? I can talk all day about flight procedures and how they're supposed to be done.....doesn't make me a good pilot.

@WingAce5 - that's just the way they set up this test. But, Paramedic school definately has enough hours of practical hands on skills...in fact,more so than required to become a Cesna Pilot.

@firemike and others, yes, the next step would be a lido drip, but I only had ten minutes to run a code. Also, sedation is a good option vs extubation. Thanks for watching.
