Soultravelers3 go to Guggenheim in Bilbao, Spain

Wow! One of the great structures on the planet that more than lives up to the hype! A fantastic museum for family travel as kids love it too!

It was the amazing building that was the star and endlessly fascinating. The large pieces like the flowered puppy at the entrance, mama Spider, balloon tulip bouquet etc., that interact with the building and landscape in a whimsical way that is provacative.

The huge metal one-piece sculptures were intriguing to 7 year old Mozart and we thought her spontaneous dance/expressions inside one showed it's impact on a kid.

Wow that place looks so cool!! I can't wait to travel to Spain, that will definately be one of my stops while im there. Mozarts little dance in the structure of the snake is lovely. it made me smile =)

Thanks Tabachoy89! Northern Spain is definitely the place to be in summer & Bilbao must be on the list! Cordoba, Seville, Granada etc are must sees as well, but gets miserable hot in July/Aug.

She loves to dance ..hope she never loses her spontaneous creativity! ;) She entertains us! LOL

Thanks movebyleap! We really loved that building & the park next to it was fabulous for kids too! I loved your daughters "Mini Tour f Ottawa" & felt like I got a little trip there too! ;) I thought the only Maman Spider was at the Guggenheim, so thanks for setting me straight!

Please check out our video "Mini Tour of Ottawa" - my daughter made it a few weeks ago for the TenWonderfulGirls channel - it features the Maman spider sculpture in downtown Ottawa - one of only 7 in the world.
