@gnt10 I have met and trained with master Benny Meng. He is probably the most influential person to Wing Chun (ving tsun) in the 21st century. He is well qualified to perform these forms because he is one of the only people in the world to have trained with all the living grandmasters of this art. I would be more likely to say that your view of it here was challenged by poor production that could not show the energy he uses, and has used to instruct thousands of people. This is the bar.

@wingchunsifu83 when you in a real fight for your life, i hope you have the time to look down and see if your stance is wide enough.
Further more if you can do it better put up some of work i would be happy to learn from a true master. Thank you.

@ArtemisCho I thought that it should have been like shoulder width. He seems really stable but doesnt seem like he could move
-
stance is too wide..movements not precise enough..moving too quickly.
those are the kind of statements he'd get from a REAL Sifu like mine
cmon people, almost anything you find on the internet involving wing chun is off. just get an instructor if you want to learn it.

@roogar2630 Do u know of a video of this new Sun Lim Tao?
-
This is the old version of Sun Lim Tao, now they learning newer version with a bit different moves.
I am not from a traditional wing chun style however even I know that his stance seems to wide. Or perhaps this is just me?
He looks really tense and his movements look...mechanical. =/
Other than that it was very interesting to watch. ^^

@ArtemisCho : I agree, his stance is too wide for my own taste to.
And his movements are not fluid. But it is from a tutorial video, so probably he exaggerated the movements, in order to break individual techniques down, so people can easily learn.

@ArtemisCho Also, there are different ways to practice the Siu Nim Tao. For example, when I practice Siu Nim Tao to cultivate my internal energy along with breathing, I move fluidly, and there is no starting - stopping point between techniques. When I practice it to build my muscles and tendon strength, I move more tensely, with some breaks between techniques.
