  • This documentary was made by Italian filmmaker Pier Paolo Pasolini in 1970 to encourage UNESCO to grant Sana's old quarter World Heritage status and to save it from destruction. It has worked and that's why the old part of Sana'a still stands today. Google him and the title of the documentary which is "Le Mura di Sana" in Italian.

    It's pretty amazing how much Sana'a has grown in 38 years. I've seen the one in Italian but not this one with the translation. Thank you alessandro180577.
