Hi, I have a question about this tutorial. I'm new to Inkscape. I'm familiar with Photoshop, Pain Shop Pro, and Gimp, but that doesn't help me here. The problem is, when I draw the shape with the bezier tool, and go back to the draw tool, when I draw a shape, it fills it on, like a half moon, For example, if I draw a line like the letter "C", it will fill it inso it looks like a half moon. I've been trying to figure out why it's not working. Can you please help. Thanks..

If anyone can help me I will be truly grateful. So, my issue is with the glow. When I print preview, it does not show the glow nor, the drop shadow. If anyone knows how to fix this, please respond A.S.A.P. Thanks!

@tutor4U I am also having the same issue. I am also running a MAC 10.7.3 with X11. It does exactly what chrisroode explains above. Love you tutorials. They are great.

Nice, thank you for making this video tutorial.
You show in very simple steps how to create impressive end-result while using tools and techniques that can be used to create complex imagery.
Thanks!
Whats the easiest and fastest way to may the outline thicker? thanks! Like your tutorial but it could be a tiny bit faster. :)

@ebblyn
The outline is also called the stroke. In the bottom left corner of Inkscape you should see the word stroke. To the right of that is a color bar and to the right of that is a number. If you right-click on the number it will allow you to change the stroke width.
