  • Mine is home for restore. Can't wait to get it back in the air.

  • The Continental A65 "percolates." I absolutely love Its sound!

  • There's nothing like a Luscombe! I now have over 800 hours in my 1946 8A. Other planes may come and go, but I'll always keep my Luscombe.

  • awesome man... from one Luscombe pilot to another!

  • In this instance a high speed pass is a bit of a misnomer. Classic airplanes like the Luscombes are great. Keep em flying. Getting my tailwheel endorsement in a Cessna 120.

  • Ah, 100mph on 65hp! Just great!

  • I don't know, looks like all the stories about a Luscombe being "squirrely" may be true. Looks like you are just scared to death in that old,old taildragger. Wouldn't you rather fly a new glass panel 172? Yeah right. Luscombes are awesome! Nosewheels take the fun out of aviation. I love my Luscombe like a child. I treat it good, and it treats me good! There is noting like flying an old classic fun basic taildragger!!

  • Very cool...
