East Village Opera Company - "Soldiers"

I just downloaded the new album from the East Village Opera Company. There's a tune on it called "Soldiers" - the words ("Eye for an eye till the blind rule the blind...") and a spoken word bridge (sounds like some angry dude at a political rally) inspired me to piece this together.

It wasn't written as a specifically anti-Bush song, but is a specifically anti-war song and opposed to the Bush mentality.

I recently saw the East Village Opera Company in the Chicago area....they were simply amazing! What creativity! Even better in person than any of the posted videos.

I have to say that the fan that put this video together was mirroring the group's political views. They performed in Chicago the week after the presidential election and they congratulated and thanked us for with happiness.
