It was 1964, and somewhere beyond the racks of bikinis and bell-bottoms of local department stores kids were introduced to a pack of magical playground animals. The elephant, kangaroo, camel and hippo were known to generations of Midwesterners as the Richman Gordman Zooland Animals.
The animals were an instant hit. Kids of the 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's spent their childhood climbing on, hiding in and sliding down the animals.
But as the world entered the internet age, the pack was broken up. Separated from their mates, these once majestic animals fell into disrepair. Enduring blazing sun and blistering cold the animals became tattered, battered and broken. The story could have ended there, but Omaha Children's Museum was determined to keep them alive for a new generation of kids. Now we need your help to "Bring Back The Pack". With your support Omaha Children's Museum can reunite, refurbish and resurrect the Zooland animals to their former glory. It's going to take a lot of love achieve this elephant-sized task. Do your part to bring back the pack for generations of kids to come: Donate, Purchase, Visit and Spread Your Love for the Pack.
This brings back so many childhood memories!

SURE HOPE THEY MADE THIS CRAP SAFER! MY BROTHER SLID OFF THE HIPPO AND SHATTERED HIS ELBOW WHEN HE WAS JUST 3YRS OLD! VERY TRAUMATIC FOR ME, AS A CHILD, HAVING TO FIND MY MOTHER WHILE TRYING TO TAKE CARE OF A LITTLE BOY WITH A MANGLED ARM!
