The super-ultra-fab-groovious-maximus JAMES HUNTER (filmed on the summer 2006 tour to support his Grammy Nomintated CD "People Gonna Talk") kicked some SERIOUS BOOTY at the Theater of Living Arts (TLA) in Philadelphia, PA June 20th. The man and his wicked band blew our heads right OFF!! What a JOYOUS experience! We've not had this much fun since ... Jeez ... can't remember! Check out his website at: http://www.jameshuntermusic.com as 2007 promises more excellence from the Talented Mr. Hunter!

  • is this guy good, or is this guy good?

  • The absolute bestest!

  • It was the fab 50s band called The "5" Royales. Read about one of James Hunter's hero guitarist, Lowman Pauling, by Googling Allmusic(dot-com) and entering (The "5" Royales) in the seach field under Artists/Groups. Enjoy!

  • Speaking of Grammy's - It's ABSOLUTELY no surprise at all the "People Gonna Talk" has been nominated for a 2006 award! I'll be a-watching for sure!

  • Indeed. What a year for Mr. Hunter, eh? Fingers crossed we'll see him at the Grammys! Thanks for the shout out!

  • Well we totally agree about your Colchester Homeboy! Stay tuned for more vids soon to be posted from his last gig (Aug 20th). Also, he's releasing "Mollena" as his new single this coming week. YESSSSSSS!

  • My wife and I saw him last Sunday in Bridgeport, CT. He opened for Chris Isaak and was fantastic even though he played for just 30 minutes, including "Don't Do It". He came on later with Chris and did "Kansas City". This was one of the best shows I've ever seen: two awesome musicians who engage their audiences like no one else. We got to say hello to James after his set! He's a nice guy.

  • I watched James Hunter at the Borderline last night - what a gig !!!Colchesters version of Sam Cooke live in Harlem. Don't do it was downright rough and dirty a real highlight.
