Its just 1-3 days of bed rest and it'll make you a hero... in everyones eyes. If youve donated bone marrow before thank you and I hope you have a long and healthy life. I had my stem cells extracted using a machine similar to the kidney dialysis machines (which I also use). It took them near a week to get mine. I got my stem cell transplant (Autologous) but have had a relapse. They are thinking about trying it again. It was not bad, but the chemotherapy I had prior was terrible.
