I used to LOVE the music from this boss rush. Especially the transparent crystal looking one. I remember the days of going thru this game flawlessly... epic.

You obviously have no clue how the shrink shield works.

With that said, don't comment on things you don't know about. All the scan lines appear to check out, he had 2 close calls, and even if they hit him, he would still be alive.

I love Gradius 3...but it bugs me that it feels more like a rehash of Gradius II than a true sequel..with number of levels reused and all.

I remember being pissed off from the ice boss... After every triumph, after beating the boss afterwards, I remember saying, "THERE'S MORE SH*T TO KILL!?"

Too bad people don't realize that this is basically the Final Boss Battle: Battle Mania. The final boss wasn't all too hard because of this, obviously. This is where the Boss difficulty went.

@AmanOU2be of gradius III? of course! but every Gradius II boss from that boss rush, uses the Gradius II boss music, instead of original tracks like in this one.

Is Crystal Core in the arcade version? I have not played it yet, but its music was not in the ingame ST on Gradius Collection for PSP

Tetran is the first boss in the Boss Rush stage in Gradius 3 arcade.
