Jack - have you tried the 100 club in London? I've never been but hope to get there one day. I used to go to the Torch & loved it.

I love this type of dancing. Some people in this vid are so natural like the girl in the union jack top. I really had to concerntrate when I was at the allnighters back in the eighties., but the music gives you a great helping hand cos it has such a fantastic bouncing beat. GREAT.

No mate, I'm same age as you and there was always splits, flips and air jumps.....if I was really flying on a good day I could spin.....I think some things were more fashionable in some places.......
....I'm just happy to find out that everyones still Keepin' the Faith.......AND bringing their kidz!

Not seen northern soul for years but when i did it there was no break dancing surely thats not n/soul?...it was foot work and spinning...

They have Northern soul nights in Retford (just down the road for you). Getting quite popular. Think it's first friday of the month in the Masonic Hall.
