The 80's BEGAN what DJing is today. Back then, Filipino DJ's in the SF bay area were introducing people to the idea of "two turntables". What started in New York as street music and garage party music came to the SF bay area, where filipino high school DJ groups were running 5000 watt + systems, doing DJ battles with L36's. Check out my vids here on Youtube to see a rare look at an 80's DJ battle. You'll see QBert when he was still an unknown...
Great song BTW!... GL The Elite Xpression

Not bad... Still, I prefer the cuts from their album "Switched-On Classics". Their cover of "Fur Elise" ("Yo, Elise!") actually got used for many years by a local station as the background music for when they did the lottery.

@Ustaad1965 i agree the 1980s was historically the most important era in the music industry, the early tracks experimenting with lots of sounds, loads of sounds in fact. I can see why 80s is best era, the music biz in 00's lost its way to commercial crap
