Part 1/1 of level 1 of my C&C Red Alert 2 Hard - Training Campaign walkthrough.
In this level we learn basic commands for our units such as movement and group selection. We also learn some special properties of units, such as veterancy, secondary functions (through deploying), and unit effectiveness. Veterancy and Secondary functions were available in Tiberian Sun, though they are explained in here. Veterancy is also a more specific art in this game. There are two stages of veterancy indicated by either one, or three chevrons. The first will make them slightly stronger and is obtained after the unit kills 3x it's production cost. The second stage will make them even stronger, give them an increased range, may change the nature of their weapon, will make them fire faster and will make them auto repair/heal and is obtained by killing another 3x the unit's production cost.

Well... I will be doing both the Allies and Soviet campaigns on hard difficulty as my next project.
I'll be working on fixing Tiberian Sun for a week, and if I can't I apologise, and will move onto this.
If I fix it, you'll have to wait longer for this.
Considering I will be waiting at least a week before playing though, it should give you plenty of time to decide whether the resolution is good for you, or whether you want to see the units closer up. It will also give me time to decide how to record or extract/download the briefings. If someone has a link to where I can download them in a usable format, I would greatly appreciate you private messaging me.

  • good job with this campaign, I can tell it tested your abilities. By that, I mean being able to sit through a load of crap of a tutorial :P.

  • Glad you can recognise this as a campaign... Some people have been arguing with me that this is incomplete.... Not mentioning anyone at GameAnyone's name lol...

  • really? the training campaign is a campaign in it's own rights... stuff gameanyone mate, they obviously don't care.

  • I'll keep adding to there. I just wish they'd TRY and see it from my perspective, rather than just saying "Maaa what fun, you can't do this!"

I don't really want to cause an argument though...

  • Yeah i was totally stuck on this mission (roll eyes).

  • I don't know, all I know is they decided to change the way they deal with walkthroughs... I just put forward the point that the campaigns should be seperate but they just moaned at me. They should at least sound sympathetic, rather than just completely disregarding what I say. I understand their point though, It makes it easier for them and takes up less space. I'll just add the training campaign to the Allies one... I'm disabling comments on this video before it turns into a troll war :/.

  • wat has cabal done wrong, his videos are good and i dont see what rules hes broken.

  • Just be thankful we even allow you to be a apprentice there, because some people there actually appreciate your work, but you gotta go by our rules if you want to add stuff there, since i am the one who handles the adding on the site 90% of the time, so stow it.

  • lol your too fast for the tutorial guys voice to say what your doing.
