so if he were to be able to get to ludlow he could take your directions below and get to smoke rise? we are worried about the house he's 84 and we are hoping to be able to get up there by the weekend. have you heard anything about the roads leading in from 91? i'd appreciate it if you could keep us posted?

@missyl9662 we have a place on trailside rd @ the big hairpin. So, past the big washout. My dad was able to get there by going up Ghia Farm Rd, the Lower Loop Rd, then up the paved private road (I think they call it Rt 103) along Sachem. From there you can get down Trailside Rd. I don't know what it looks like below our house, but there is only one small stream crossing between us and Smoke Rise. But, they are working like mad to fill in the washout on West Hill Rd, should be passable soon.

Thank you for that footage! my dad lives on smoke rise and we have been trying to find out what's been going on at west hill. doesn't look like he can get home. Please keep us posted as to when the road will be passable? we would greatly appreciate it. if you are looking for something to do, any footage you can get of smokerise, that's the road on the left before you hit the reservoir would be appreciated! He's 4th hse on rt
