tiny tug pulling a tiny narrowboat on the mighty trent

tiny tug boat tows tiny narrow boat across the river trent. we saw this small tug boat pulling the tiny narrowboat from the cranfleet canal entrance across to the river trent to the river soar entrance heading for redhill marina by the look of it , this junction is interesting as the trent makes a left turn towards beeston and nottingham non navigable for narrow boats etc which have two choices of canal at this point the erewash canal thru to long eaton, or cranfleet canal to pick back up with the river trent. you should visit this area its got everything two pubs , a wonderfull tea room plenty of free parking at trent lock , great walks in all directions and fishing run by local club the long eaton victoria angling society visit a cracking website www.levas.co.uk . thanks for watching and reading.
