Kone lift installed in 2007. It is in the car park in the Bicester Village Outlet Centre and has 2 landings (0,1).

  • This doesnt look ecodisc this is the next generation buttons and the motor is much

    quieter :)

  • EcoDisc is just the hoisting technology isn't it? The actual car's have different names like Monospace i think.

  • actually you're right. monospace is everything in the lift. actually i think its ecoSpace. but im not sure i call them all ecodisc. ecodisc is the hoisting technology. here in finland they all are monospace but there they are ecospace, but if theres floors 6 or up then its monospace, monospace version is faster. so its ecodisc i think lol.

  • I think it's a custom designed lift and maybe the customer wanted as little branding as possible inside the lift to keep it simple.

  • I like this lift too, Bicester Village is generally well kept so hopefully this lift will be too

  • i think u all have way too much time on ya hands if ya gunna sit n rgue bout wat type of lift it is !! does it really matter? it still takes u from floor to floor!!

  • its nothing like the minispace i service there 3.5m/s or 750ft min, i work for kone, those pushes are the type we fit when a lift has been refurbished, possibly using the old machine, might even have the type machine like the maxi-space has.

  • Don't think so for 2 reasons:

    1. Minispace can only have a maxinum capacity of 800KG (10 Persons)

    2. It would say 'Powered by KONE PowerDisc,' with a EcoDisc-style badge.

  • Its not. You can hear the motor 'clicks' (turning on and off) so its MRL elevator.

  • Maybe it's an Minispace. This is a KONE Minispace!

  • More like Minispace.

  • in every elevator which has ecodisc theres

"POWERED BY KONE EcoDisc" Circle. And i saw elevator like this, it has EcoDisc circle and they've made it much cooler.

  • i don't even think this is a monospace. Monospace units have a sign saying "Powered by KONE EcoDisc" on the bottom of the COP
