When Roger plays like this, he doesn't give his opponents any rest what-so-ever. It's seemingly impossible to keep up with his insane pace as he makes you hit the ball while running sideways all the time.

Ok, i'd like to point something out about Canas. 1st of all yes Federer played very well BUT Canas is not a fast-court player. How do you think he would do against Federer on grass? Indoor is VERY fast and Fed's game, although awesome on all surfaces is more suited to fast-faster courts. Canas' game is more suited to outdoor hard and clay. Just saying. Anyway good match for Fed.

Before you diss him too badly, Canas beat Federer in back-to-back Masters series earlier this same year, in Indian Wells and Miami, both times knocking Federer out early.
People were saying Canas was Federers "bogey" player. Being a bit annoyed by such comments, Federer was out to proove them wrong here, and he did so in spectacular fashion
