Friday Is Dark sees a slightly eerie detour from Yves' usually euphoric output. This refined and defined electronic experience begins with the basics but gradually grows and flourishes into a stylised exploration of synthesised layers woven around a simple central theme.
In contrast, Tape sees Yves indulge our ears in a stereophonic smorgasbord of swiftly pulsating rhythms, undulating chords and a heady plethora of zipping, energetic sounds that seem to come into a life of their own as they wrap themselves around your brain and pull you into their strange but highly attractive zone.
