Well in that era thats why Steffi was sooo successful, if you put Steffi in the modern game with Serena now, an all the other good hard hitting players, Steffi wouldnt have those 22 Grand slams, she was playing in the throwback era... but i really do like Steffi, but Serena's game now is much better than Steffi's than it was back then, but put Steffi in today's tennis trying to win a grand slam with all of these powerful competitors, and see how many she can get, maybe 3 or 4

@KnowImillian If i thought that i wouldn't argue against it. How can you say a prime serena would smoke a player that has almost twice as many major titles as she does? She held all 4 majors in 1988, and again in 93-94. thats a 5 to 6 year spread and in professional tennis, 5 to 6 years is almost half of a competitive career. She represented the true pinnacle of womens tennis in 2 different parts of her career. there's just no valid point that says serena had a better career then steffi

@KnowImillian Steffi graf held all 4 major titles twice in her career, including once in a calendar year. 22 major titles in total. Serena is one of the all time greats but you just can't argue against steffi graf's resume
