  • Who orchestrated this?

  • @jbradfo89

    Frederick Fennell I suppose

  • this simply shows how brilliant the composition is. rachmaninov could get so much out of the piano.. amazing. the middle segment is really beautiful! I by the way think that the picture at 2.14 is really cool.

  • @DonFrankos Thanks a lot.!

  • wonderful, but i still prefer the piano version though. thanks for posting!!

  • I considered this some curious...! ;)

  • @zs1230 yeah, it's a very particular view this guy had... tells much about his personality and probably his nationality...

it's interesting, l would have done different too

  • some parts are WAYYY to light-weight and so un-rachmaninoff. interesting transcription though

  • some parts of this piece i wouldnt interpret into orchestra this way but nevertheless still very great work. seriously hope to see more orchestra versions around.

  • fun

  • Interesting how this work as a piano piece and Rachmaninov's 2nd symphony both stand on their own as original works. But then when you orchestrate the Prelude, the similarity immediately comes to the surface.

  • è semplicemente geniale!!
