I came into the Aether while I was grabbing some hides from cows and when I got to my house I ran into this. I don't know if this is normal due to the fact I just started using this mod today. But I can tell you one thing, these things sure do love to mate.

Uh, they aren't Moa's, they're Cockatrice's and they spit poison darts at you. You can't get Moa eggs from them either.

Those are Moa birds, they are not tamable, but they lay eggs and give birth to a tamed Moa Bird with the encubator. You have to feed the tamed ones to make them grow. Different colors eat different amounts :)
