A Great Tip: If you are doing this yourself, you can roll the hair up the curling iron rather than wrapping it around the iron. After twisting the hair strand start on the bottom of the twisted section, roll the curling iron up towards the scalp of the head; like a traditional curling iron curl.

@webzilla1 This will definitely work well on shoulder length layered hair. The key to this style is setting the texture and movement into the hair, which can be done on any hair type and length. The length and hair type will change the overall finished look, but it will still look very similar and great! Essentially this style will give you a lot of body and wave, with a spiral "S" like shape. Hope that helps :)
