@aviomaster CCCP would have done the same thing. Russia and the US are pretty much identical, both using countries as pawns and only befriending them if they have something to gain from the country they are befriending. Look at modern Russia; do you think they actually give two shits about Iran, their ally? No, of course not, Iran to Russia is a speed bump - a buffer to keep the imperial movements of the US and NATO at bay. Same shit as twenty years ago.

@aviomaster It is still better then what the british empire did a few centurys ago. The british inslaved the world, Americe wants the world to be run by democracy. In fact America is the first world superpower that is not looking for territorial conquest. They even rebuilt and gave Japan back to the Japanese. Would Russia have done the same? The Difference of America and Russia can easily be shown by looking at the East and West Germany after world war 2.
