From September through December in 1965, Jay Ward's Hoppity Hooper episodes were re-aired as part of Cartoon Fun, a thirteen episode Sunday afternoon series on ABC-TV. Topper Toys, one of the big toy suppliers of the day, sponsored this installment from December 19, 1965 featuring Hoppity Hooper's Christmas episode.
Hoppity is such a cute frog. His voice is very adorable(considering the fact he was voiced by a female). I enjoyed the show on Saturday mornings when it premiered on ABC.

Incidentally, "CARTOON FUN" was seen at 4:30pm(et) on Sundays...were you watching?

It would be kind of cheating but you could insert some Topper commercials (Johnny Express, Sixfinger, Penny Brite, Johnny Seven, etc.) and have a complete show.

Too bad the original topper toy commercials were not with the cartoon. That would have been awesome!

In the fall of 1965, I'd say that was as far back as
I remember TV cartoons. some of them (Mighty Mouse and
Bullwinkle) were in reruns. This is the year before
tidal wave of new animation (Fall 1966 onward).

In the fall of 1965, Topper Toys briefly sponsored a "repackaged" version of "HOPPITY HOOPER" [Topper co-sponsored the original series with General Mills on Saturdays] called "CARTOON FUN" (with new titles), on ABC's Sunday afternoon schedule. This was part one of "Christmas", shown in December of 1965.
