I'm generally a harsh critic, and not overly fond of Anne Hathaway, but she definitely won me over with this scene.

shes not much of a singer so yeah she did a decent job on this song....this a a good version if you add in the acting factor with the the emotion put into it etc.....now as for the best version of this song.....no not even close. her emotional acting is covering up her flaws in her singing. lea would prob be one of the best. as for the rest of the cast.......there were professional singers in there that did thier parts justice.

If you were an intelligent, thinking human being you'd probably understand that what inspires and resonates within one person doesn't necessarily do the same for the next person. And only an incredibly immature person would fail to grasp that this exact diversity is the beauty of both music and life. So judging someone's ability to call themselves a fan by preferring one artist over another is obscenely ridiculous. But like I said ... if.

I am a les mis fan and her version is definitely the best cant say the same for the rest of the cast of the film but her version compared to all others on stage is amazing - heartfelt and real amazing cant stop listening !!

you should. I was never raised on musicals or theater or anything like this. Never thought I would enjoy it. I married a musician, however, who introduced me and I really like this movie. Anne nails it.
