@marti32 I rarely respond negatively to anyone. I've never said said anything close to, "shove your politics up your assehole."

When you write something like that, you've lost the moral high-ground to tell others how, or how not, to respond.

Ask yourself, when someone who cares deeply about both his country, and Mr. Springsteen, and shares Bruce's anger about the damage that was done using torture, rendition, etc., praises a song that speaks to that point, is your response gracious or wise.

@marti32 I know, I know. It's very frustrating to not understand Mr. Springsteen's politics, or mine, and to not have the ability to respond substantively. It's a very natural response to strike out at that which we don't understand, and in the most articulate way our vocabulary allows.

If I were you, and you were me, I'd probably think of an equally clever attack.
