When you pour more fuel in a cylinder than the motor can burn, that leftover fuel is "unburnt" which is where black smoke comes from.

Oh, btw, I've already been certified, employed, and moved on from the automotive trade, so while you'll "have your degree in a month" I've already been there, done that.

@7150285 He is accelerating, when you're going high speeds and the turbo isn't spooled, it smokes like crazy when barley accerating.
