Local Television Personalities Featured in Upcoming MDC Journalism Speaker Series. Miami, Wednesday, April 22, 2009 - Miami Dade Colleges (MDC) Journalism Speaker Series, designed to bring students face-to-face with experienced journalists, will next feature two local television reporters, Natalia Zea of CBS 4 and Amara Sohn of NBC 6. Zea and Sohn will talk with students on Tuesday, Apr. 28, at 11: 15 a.m. at MDCs Wolfson Campus, 300 N.E. Second Avenue, Room 7128.

The Speaker Series was launched in February of 2008 to create an exchange and learning opportunity for students interested in pursuing careers in journalism. Each program includes a presentation by the journalists and a 15-minute question and answer session. All programs are free and open to the public.
