Loin du cliché comique populaire de certains ou du glamour superflu, l'univers de Twisted Cabaret se veut à la fois poétique et réfléchis.

Réunissant des artistes reconnus comme The Residents, The Legendary Pink Dots ou The Dresden Dolls, Twisted Cabaret Vol.1 met également en lumière des artistes émergents dans ce mouvement où le contenant est aussi important que le contenu.
Nous allons donc privilégier, en plus d'un contenu qualitatif et riche, avec une esthétique mêlant l'iconographie d'époque à un style plus moderne.
Le projet sera édité sous deux formes, la première, un CD audio digipack, et la seconde une édition Deluxe incluant le CD audio ainsi qu'un DVD comprenant une vidéo de chaque artistes représentant une autre facette de son travail.
Lédition Deluxe contient un DVD bonus de contenu vidéo inédits pour beaucoup (DVD zone 0, soit toutes zones)

Each in their musical style, the selected artists revive a polemic that opposes the standardization of, the mind, customs and way of life. Far from the popular comic cliché or excessive glamour, Twisted Cabaret sets out to be at the same time poetic and thoughtful.

Uniting well known artists as The Residents', The Legendary Pink Dots' or The Dresden Dolls', Twisted Cabaret Vol.1 also introduces emergent artists of this genre, where the "Packaging" is as important as the content.

As well as having rich and qualitative content(s), we have also favoured an esthetical mix of old iconography, but with a modern style.

Two versions will be available: a regular digipack audio CD and a Deluxe Edition which will include the regular audio CD, plus an additional DVD of music videos and live performances of the artists presenting the other sides of their work.

Deluxe Edition includes a bonus DVD featuring a lot of exclusive contents of the artists, DVD zone 0, so worldwide.
