Poorly Shot

Assignment #2 for VM120 at Emerson College: Work with the city, the camera, and montage to make a piece based upon the principles of Dziga Vertov's approach to filmmaking.

Filmed in downtown Boston and inside the MBTA subway system with a stock Canon HV40 (no lenses or attachments). Edited in Premiere Pro CS5, color graded with Magic Bullet Looks. Intro and outro smoke animations done in 3ds Max 2011 with FumeFX 2.0, composited in After Effects CS5.

What camera/editing software did you use to shoot this? Great depth of field on some of the shots, nice synchronization also!
