Akekho Ofana No Jesu - Stanford Talisman - Winter Show 2010

"After Silence": Talisman winter show 2010

Talisman traveled to Cape Town, South Africa for spring tour 2004. One of the places we visited was Liwa Primary School in Guguletu Township. When we arrived, all the schoolchildren were assembled on the blacktop and sang us "Akekho Ofana No Jesu." We loved the song so much we brought it back to Stanford complete with dance moves! The lyrics are in Zulu, though the same song has several translations in multiple southern African languages. The title translates to "There is no one like Jesus."
