i'm Nigerian too but lets check the meaning of the ad before we raise some dust. no scam here. the woman ordered and will get the shoes she asked for regardless of where it was made. in this case a shabby shop in lagos - but she was unaware of the "state" of the location. those characters are actually running a legit business. what the ad is saying is this "regardless of the state of where you buy from, your identity will still be safe." -continue
in all fairness we've seen many films where a country get mentioned as a point of reference "negative or positive"-( germany in british films, russia in american films - and i guess those country's will do the reverse too. and nobody calls for fire) a country had to be mentioned - we can't cry everytime nigeria comes up on the net. law suit? sorry men no case here.
She did not buy the shoe for the kid, watch the begining of the ad where the girl was looking at the shoe on her pc. does that look like a man's shoe?
she will get her shoes! just that the people making it don't look "high class" - the "company" on the net was the same company the boy ran too. the logo on the inside wall and the store name states that. just a local shoe maker going global. do you expect the man to put the picture of his shabby shop online
