ALL of metallicas albums kick ass. Not just the 90's ones, ALL of them do. When they make new stuff, they base their songs on their feelings, not jus for the fun of it or to make more money. With St Anger, they were playing how they felt, Angry.

@ed170rg they tried to make it sound like their garage times, the sounds are kind of like ...And Justice For All, but not alot of people like it because of the audio quality, it sounds like it was poorly recorded. the audios were fixed to make it sound like the old times, its hard to do tht with more modern sound equipment.
