This stage design originated from the Figure-8 Circuit Course from Mario Kart DS.

I don't know what have to do that with my video but anyway:

The background in the stage it's obviously from Mario Kart DS

But the circuit design... I think it comes from Mario Circuit 2 from Super Mario Kart. I believe this because the Mario Circuit stage in Brawl isn't a perfect Figure-8 Circuit, and karts jump in the bridge, both of things happened in Mario Circuit 2.
