@2007Colonial I saw Augie drive a Scarab -- thinking it was this one? -- at Road America a few years ago on a vintage meet.

The Scarab was unbeatable in 1958 as the SCCA National Champion, they even defeated Phill Hill in the Ferrari 412MI at the Riverside Grand Prix for sportscars in October of 58', the Scarab's last win was in 1963 at Road America with Augie Pabst driving, one of the greatest front engine sportscars of all time!

The original Reventlow Scarabs never had very good luck on the track, but they were always stunningly beautiful.
