Stand Up for Kids: National Safe Schools Week October 19-24 2009

National PTA and Investigation Discovery are teaming up to keep schools safe by encouraging students, parents and families to stand up against school violence. The joint initiative, called Stand Up for Kids: National Safe Schools Week, is aimed at raising awareness of effective ways to keep children safe in the classroom, on the playground and on the computer.
Throughout the week, Investigation Discovery will air child safety tips and public service announcements that feature PTA as a go-to resource for families. On October 24 at 10pm EST, Investigation Discovery will premiere a one-hour special titled BLACKBOARDS AND BULLIES: ARE YOUR KIDS SAFE?
