The Trauma Resolution Center in Miami is the first trauma-focused, holistic Community Mental Health Center in the United States. The TRC has provided a healing experience originally only for victims of crime since 1995. As the pervasiveness of trauma and the importance of resolving traumatic events became more broadly recognized, the agency expanded its circle of help to include any type of overwhelming life experience.

The agency has pre, mid, and post tested clients for post traumatic stress disorder, depression, anxiety, and expectancy of success since its inception. In recent years, the Happiness scale was added. Because of the data collected, we know that our approach, which is client-centered and requires clinicians to adhere to a specific discipline, is extremely effective. We also know that our clients move beyond symptom reduction to personal growth and a sense of peace and empowerment.
