I sent "Huh What?" by e-mail to a friend saying; "Let me introduce you to some poets on YouTube." And she replied;

Tell Me About These People
by MrDaMan
Virgil R. Hall II (Randy)

I "know" them not.... they are empathic images that glitter in my mind on an electronic screen. I assume they are flesh and blood and not figments of my imagination scattered across the green and brown of this blue world we call home.

Middle class poets, the teeth of humanity that chew on reality and survive or die upon the wisdom learned or lost in the prevailing winds of cultures vultureistic ethos.

Christians and atheists, agnostics and the curious, mischievous and outwardly introspective. Darwins children swinging on the vines of cyber evolution, a fraction of the monkey on Shakespeare's back scribing sonnets and poetic prose that greases the pain and makes pleasure more accessible.

Intelligent life with keyboard claws ripping the fabric of information and disseminating human truths, lies and fantasies.
Eclectic electric Kirlian auras Star Treking the new frontier. Inner space where light and dark thoughts intermingle and are shadowed on millions of lucid screens.

Twenty first century candles of liquid crystal plasma flickering YouTube souls as living room campfire familial heat. Birds of a feather learning to fly on wings of optic fiber and satellites, soaring on empathys winds, swimming in oceans of consciousness rubbing and touching spirits as bits and bytes.

I "know them not"but I believe they arehuman.

  • awesome mind you have

  • Thank you, it sloshes around in empathy. I've always wondered about its sensitivity and how to deal with it. Writing and creating seems to help. Thanks again for your comments. :-)

  • where am I in this vid? haha!

    good one. you're a great poet.

  • Clay your avatar at the time was just a pen and paper... you were meant to be included but that one wasn't right for you. You're in it though in its soul...definitely part of the inspiration.

  • The human spirit and voice finds its way into every medium. Spoken, written, or translated into 1s and 0s, the soul cannot be caged.

  • Don't be surprised if I use the phrase "Caged Soul" in some work of the future. What is a poet but a soul rattling his/her cage? :-p
