NOTE: Originally posted April 25, 2008. I am re-uploading the older episodes of the Multimedia Chronicles to give them all proper HD upgrades in quality.

The long awaited update about my DVD Collection! This turned out to be far longer than I had intended, but I wanted to be thorough this time around since I had a lot of questions about the last one I did (back in November 2006).

So, I've split it up into several parts, each part covering a different section of my collection.

This time around - Uber Boxed Sets!

  • Have you ever got The Lord of the Rings Extended Editions on Blu-Ray?

  • @killer92173 Yes. watch?v=OmH2MPRtt2U

  • So, I am sure that someone has mentioned this to you (since this video is several years old) but I have recently discovered you and would like to let you know. You said that 'The Lone Gunmen' was the only spin-off from X-Files, but the awesome show 'Millennium' is also a spin-off. I recently got this series on laserdisc from Japan and was curious about its omission. Not trying to be a prick or anything...just saying.

  • @michele11804 I know, I've talked about Millennium in other videos (including one of the parts of this very overview series). Lone Gunmen was a direct spin-off. Millennium wasn't. It wasn't originally meant to tie in with X-Files, really. Millennium was shoehorned into the same universe AFTER the fact with the X-Files crossover episode that sort of wrapped up the story. Frank Black (or any other characters) didn't appear (or were mentioned) in X-files until after Millennium ended.

  • 5:20... does your set include the 2-Disc edition of Raiders of the Lost Ark? Cause I believe I have the same set and mine has a 2-Disc edition. However, someone else I know has the set as well, and their copy is single disc.

  • @Bisbeatle Nope, it's just the single disc. What's the difference?

  • Hey Z-MAN, have you seen Terminator Salvation yet? If you haven't, give it a chance because it was pretty good but not T2 good.

  • i never watched invader zim but it had a huge cult following i think i should watch the episodes, i also got the newer dvds of the indiana jones movies and kingdom of the crystal skull but i saw the boxset at a swap meet a couple of months ago

  • @Videogamestwin Enteprise

  • @Zaranyzerak some different featurettes, not much though

  • What's the WORST Star Trek tv series.

  • @Zaranyzerak I don't know if @Bisbeatle knows this, but the reason he has a two-disc edition of Raiders is because he most likely bought it at best buy when the set first came out back in... 2003 was it? Anyway, it was a best buy exclusive at the time. At least that's how I got mine.
