SAVING THE ENVIRONMENT, ONE EPISODE AT A TIME! Excited after seeing Who Killed The Electric Car, Sarah and Shelley give us a mini-review and reaffirme their desire to own an electric car.
@1BustedMyth "those who try to change things for the better."
Since when do brain amputated monkeys like you who only have thought trhough a topic half-way change sth for the better??? Whenever people like u r allowed to decide sth, things always have gone WORSE. The impact on the environment due to the production and driving of a Toyota Prius is much worse than the one of a COMPARABLE conventional car, like a Golf or Polo diesel. But at least, u then bought into this green marketing gag .
Hahahahahahhaha, why do you drive a car then, if it is the personified Anti/Christ???
You got me wrong, I dont drive 200 km/h. This is only my cruising speed. I go at 300 km/h. While doing so, I am emitting CO2 and almost ONLY CO2, while u down under might be emitting in ur under-engineered rubbish from the past century toxic NOx, SOx and MOs.
Even in leading countries regarding to this such as Denmark, Spain, Germany, the share of renewables in generating electrical power is 15 %. so There still would be a long and expensive way to go. For the time being, you wouldn t want to waste the precious renewable electric power to be wasted on EVs.
@joaquinveyron , To say you are arrogant scum, would be to insult scum.
100,000's of people have lost their lives, their family, their sanity and their ability to earn a living, while filth like you criuse the Autobahn at 200kmh aircon on full listening to music ignoring the suffering and having the gaul to look down on those who try to change things for the better.
With the history of your country, you should know better!
Dipshit, the degree of efficiency of EVs that are merely powered by regen energies wouldnt be much lower than 80 %, since 80 % is only the efficiency of the electric motor. You have many other processes in between (powertransfer, charging, friction of the car). But you are right, this questions would be obsolete, once regen energy is available in abundance, which is not the case.
@joaquinveyron , Umm... 80-90% efficientcy! with a renewable fuel source.
You live in a false economy, clearly you need to suffer more to accept the reality that your bmw's aircon can not protect you from what is happenning outside.
I have seen people take their own lives because of Exxon, Bp and I have seen Shell instrumental in having people murdered, I have had my life threatened by a minning company and a member of our team die under suspicious circumstances, whilepricks like you smile
@joaquinveyron , Lovely how you sdie step all the bits you don't like creep.
Um... "Cruise" at 200, but I go at 300!"
Do you see any problem with that statement?
Really sucks to be you!
You should look up Sociopath!

Yes, it must be vey hard to live next a power plant that produces electricity for EVs.
