I was 9 when this commercial came out. That tune was so catchy I could remember it even after nearly ten years of not seeing this.

In school we used to do these things called D.O.L.'s it was 5th grade when 7.0 and I always put D.O.L. Version 7.0! <3

The robotic AOL Version 7.0 voice is seared into my memory forever. I grew up with 7.0, was frustrating at times but I had a lot of fun with it.

It recently got stuck in my head again!
Those were the innocent days of the internet though. Back when I would go on Candystand, and play Age of Empires 2 and Command and Conquer in school after finishing the stupid starter courses we were forced to do. The teacher was a bitch though, if you didn't have your hands set to home row keys she'd kill you.
