Installation of the top panel of Zagg.com's Invisible Shield. Although you've seen Zagg.com's practiced hands apply the shield I reduced this 20 minute application to under a minute after falling asleep to a long and boring video which showed the same thing. Here it is, application minus the fatigue.

  • so many people bash this product, but I have it on all my mobile devices and my Macbook Pro.

Some need to learn patience and thinking out the installation prior to installing it.

  • @PersonalGeek I agree. It takes a little bit of patience to install. But once you've got the hang of it, it is easy to install and, if it ever discolors, you contact Zagg and get another one for the cost of shipping.

  • @PersonalGeek im thinking about getting it for my MacBook Pro. Does it leave it all shining after?

  • @TheKimmy562 it is shinier than brushed aluminum, but not irritatingly shiny. You be the judge. This application is on a different MacBook Pro and is has been in the field every day between client's houses. bit (dot) ly/yJ73Au

  • well ihad this skin but it turns yellow with time... too bad for a product so expensive

  • @cramtoro Odd. I've had the same one for over a year. If they yellow, contact zagg and they'll send you another one for free.

  • that looks really hard to put on lol

  • @GasparEdwin The 2010 MacBook Pro's size is 100% identical to the 2009 MacBook Pro. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but they look identical to me.

  • Does is have that same 'grippy' feel like smaller versions of Invisible Shield i.e. the iPhone version? I would imagine your hand wouldn't easily glide say from the keyboard to the mouse that easily due to the grippy rubber feel....

  • @qaseem5 None whatsoever.

  • @Myaccountbastards I'm sure it does because few things conduct heat better than aluminum. Naturally, any plastic would fall into that category.

The good news is although I'm sure it does, the difference in heat is not great enough to be felt by touching the computer.
