Here's the flip side to Cher's solo debut. This side, an instrumental, was intentionally sped up and pitched by me simply because it sounds better that way. At "normal" playback, I wouldn't have bothered...

  • What you hear and see is the record I own. The "Ringo..." side is playing elsewhere, unchanged, not like this one where I upped the pitch. Phil Spector was notorious for using subgrade vinyl on his records, which would explain any noise you may hear, even on a clean copy. For what I paid for it, I'm still satisfied, even though I don't like the record all that much to begin with. I almost didn't buy it, but the price was too low to pass on it.

  • Do you (or anyone here) actually own the 45 of Ringo? If so, does your copy also sound so abrasive? I have a brand new copy of it, never been played before, yet it sounds as if it's been played a million times already... (My needle is not damaged) I don't get it. Send me a private message :)

  • I recieved my copy of this single today. A brand new copy straight from someone who used to work for Phil Spector. So proud of it! This is indeed a very fun song. But your rip isn't sped up, mine plays at the exact same pitch though
