King Parrot Samba Batucada March 2011

King Parrot Bloco de Samba are committed to rehearsing as tightly played and as danceable as possible samba-batucada. This clip shows the entire KPS band playing to an enthusiastic crowd at the Katoomba Food Co-op's 30th Birthday. We are very proud of this performance and in particular of the two young members at the front who have trained to hard to master the tamborim. The Adam's Family break is borrowed from Mocidade Indepenente de Padre Miguel and their daughter school, the London School of Samba, for which we give credit:)
