Lilly's father sent a letter. Christian and Olli are afraid that they'll have to say goodbye to Lilly.

The new voice-over always applies to both storylines, so this is Elisabeth's complete voice-over (I've cut the scenes of Ludwig and Elisabeth at the hospital):
Beginning:
Every day is a gift. But when we have to be afraid that our time will be over soon, this saying gets a completely new meaning. We have to enjoy the time we've got left, even if we know that the people we love will probably not be with us forever. Suddenly every second counts. Our time's running out.
End of the episode:
How do you explain to the man you love that all hopes have been shattered and that you return empty-handed? What remains is to enjoy every moment we've got together and to show how much we love each other, before it's too late. Time's running out.

Another sports event (handball) will preempt VL tomorrow, the next episode will air on Monday, January 17th. The next episode featuring Christian and Olli is scheduled to air on January 20th

@wumc2003 Make sure you have the latest updates of all the necessary programs (like adobe flash player). If you do and the closed captions are not working, then it's a Youtube problem in your area, and all you can do is wait for YT to fix it. In the meantime you can use the interactive transcript. Press the small button on the left of the view count. It opens under the video&each line is highlighted as it is said. OR watch the video with embedded English subs on MM02 (see link in the info box).

@samtelvis well you're wrong, if i may say. It's not because Olli has had too much that he gave up on his mother, but do you know how painful it is when your closest person is the one who rejected your true self? It's unbearable. Olli gave up contacting his mother in order to ease that pain. At some point, it's even more painful than having your parents lost.

Mmmm understand your point of view guys, but i think it's quite hash to accuse Olli like that. Remember, they have agreed to make the most out of the time they have left with Lily, and this probably how Olli wish to, because he wants to remember it with the most of happiness. Well, for me it seems like Christian is trying to run away from the fact, but having difficulty to do so.

btw anyone else noticed the letter is actually a white empty paper? :p

I just noticed that they changed the building of NoLimits. It looked like they lived in an attick and now its looks like they live in a regular three story building.

@juliench1 I think you're absolutely right. Christian is taking way way WAY harder than Olli is. I could smack Olli sometimes across his balding pate. His thoughts are about as deep as a milk saucer sometimes. He, of all people, know what it means to Christian to have a family he can call his own. Olli has had lots of family around him all the time. He's had so much that he could afford to give up contact with his mother for almost ten years. Christian lost both parents before the age of 23.

Christian is absolutely correct here Olli has his head in the clouds he did not understand that foster parenting is for a short period of time and is not permanent. Olli did not consider Christian's feelings he is so impulsive sometimes and I think it is wrong for him to not consult Christian.
