Energy 2007: The New Era of Petropolitics
Increased competition over access to oil and natural gas is reshaping the geopolitical landscape, strengthening the diplomatic influence of oil exporters.
1) How is competition for access to oil and gas reshaping international relations?
2) Is growing demand from India and China creating structural changes in the oil markets? If so, what are the economic and security implications?
3) Does the power derived from oil endure or will it rise and fall with the price of crude?

And whole issue was about how to deal with problem of increase energy use and energy security. And what he says is that we can more increase it ;))))))
and Alexander Medvedov (Gasprom) and president of Azerbajan (Aliyev) are at least use "bad " english *)))) and also talk about future possibilities of increasing oil and gas!!!!!!

Andronichuk, agreed. I'm not sure that (at least based on the translation) the Ukranian Prime Minister had any understanding of the issue being discussed..

On Behalf of the people of Ukraine, I appologise to the world for this DISGRACE of a prime minister who represented our country at Davo in 2007. He has no idea what is going on and is unable to put 2 intelligent sentences together. Yanukovich at one point forgot that he is supposed to be representing UKRAINIAN not RUSSIAN interests.
