Rockford Trip + Other Throw Away Footage

Over spring break in March, I went on a road trip to Madison, WI, Rockford, IL and Chicago. The only day we were in Chicago it rained... bummer. Anyways, the first half of this montage covers the throw away stuff from that trip, the rest is just other recent scraps I had sitting around.

@theholyroller777 Yeah Rockford sucks, but the biggest reason it sucks is the negative lazy ass puke heads that live here. When I was younger i hated it so much I moved a thousand miles away and stayed away for years. Now that i'm older and still skate all the time I appreciate the grittyness of this town. There isn't a big skate scene which is kind of cool. No matter where you live. Life is what you make it.

Most people know about the Harrison ditch. There is another ditch that we started skating back in 1986 that was later named "the happy ditch" It's located on Ohio pkwy. and weslyan ave. It's smaller and the walls are close together so you can pump back and forth. Make sure to bring some big, soft wheels though or you will die. I went there a couple months ago and skated it. Hasn't changed a bit. Although back in the day we had a plywood runway at the top for more speed.

@MFFilms815 Hell yeah me too. No one skates the ditch anymore. I think about it from time to time. Lost alot of skin there back in the day.

Flinn middle school was one of the places I grew up skating back in the 80's. Cool to see it in this vid.

Because it's the footage that we decided not to save for Boondoggle, hence "throw away," like it's just extra stuff that won't make the cut for the video...
