Two aircrafts in PGA colours line up for departure from the runway 03 in Lisbon's airport. PGA airlines (Portugalia) was created in July 2008 as a joint-stock company and since then it operates regional flights in Portugal, Europe and since 2008 to North of Africa. The company in 2006 was bought by the main Portuguese airline TAP a member of star alliance, and even though all flights operated by PGA aircrafts are TAP flights, their fleet kept the original colours as the brand itself is well recognized in Europe. As a matter of fact, Portugalia won several Skytrack prizes for the best regional airline in Europe. On this 3 and a half minutes uncut footage made on the 23rd November 2009 in Lisbon, Portugal airport, you have a Beechcraft 1900D from the sub-brand PGA Express and right after you have a Fokker 100. In 2009, their fleet included 8 Embraer 145, 6 Fokker 100 and a pair of Beechraft 1900D that are in fact owned by another company named OMNI aviação e tecnologia.
Flights featured are, TP784 destination PNA (Pamplona airport in Spain) operated by the Beechcraft CS-TMU named Castor and flight TP 472 destination LYS (Lyon, Saint Exupery airport in France) operated by the Fokker 100 CS-TPF. LT 14:05. All rights reserved.
